Fleet Pond Wildlife Day - 26th May

Come and join rangers from Hart Countryside Services and volunteers from the Fleet Pond Society for this free event at Boathouse Corner, Fleet Pond.

Sunday 26th May 2013 10am - 2pm.

Colin's SSSI walk

It's become a bit of a tradition for someone to carry out a sponsored event for the Society in recent years and this year, it's our Chairman, Colin Gray, who is taken up the challenge.

He plans to tour "as many wildlife and evironmentally important sites as possible in one day"

Clearwater Campaign

Phase 1 of the dredging has started at the Pond - See the News Page for the latest updates.

A campaign to restore Fleet Pond nature reserve to create a more healthy amenity for wildlife and people.

Colin Gray has put together 5 Powerpoint presentations covering the history of Fleet Pond from the earliest times up the current Conservation work carried ou by the Fleet Pond Society.

Conservation Tasks

You can help out at Fleet Pond by joining one of the regular working parties.

Conservation tasks will take place on the Second Sunday of each month from March to June.

Guided Walks at Fleet Pond

Fleet Pond Society Chairman, Colin Gray is available for talks about Fleet Pond.
No set fee is charged, but a donation to Fleet Pond Society would be appreciated. For talks outside Hart District it might be necessary to charge travel expenses
