The 2011 Photo competition has now been launched, with a simple theme of “A moment to remember”

Entry is open to members and non-members using any type of camera and there is no entry fee.

Fleet Carnival - Profits to Clearwater Campaign

This year's Fleet Carnival profits are going to the Clearwater Campaign.

24 Hours of 'Le Pond' for Clearwater - June 24th/25th

FPS Member, Mandy Saxby, completed a 24 hour walk around the Pond between Friday June 24th and Saturday June 25th to help raise funds for the Clearwater Campaign.

Thanks to Mandy, all who walked with her for an hour or two and everyone who's sponsored her online or by donating as she walked.

It's not too late to sponsor her by visiting her Charity Giving site.

The Garden Party was a great success again with even the weather helping out.

Clearwater Campaign

A campaign to restore Fleet Pond nature reserve to create a more healthy amenity for wildlife and people.

Colin Gray has put together 5 Powerpoint presentations covering the history of Fleet Pond from the earliest times up the current Conservation work carried ou by the Fleet Pond Society.

You can view them on the History page.

Conservation Tasks

You can help out at Fleet Pond by joining one of the regular working parties.

Conservation tasks will take place on the Second Sunday of each month from March to June.

Guided Walks at Fleet Pond

No set fee is charged, but a donation to Fleet Pond Society would be appreciated. For talks outside Hart District it might be necessary to charge travel expenses
